Troubleshooting: Why doesn't the adapter work with my Drives (The SSD/HDD is not recognized on the PC)?

There are several possible reasons:

1) If you are using a new SSD drive or HDD, you need to initialize and format it first. Search for "how to initialize an external hard drive" for directions specific to your Windows version.

2) If it is an old or disassembled hard disk, make sure the hard disk is in good condition.

3) If you are using an Apple OS Mac system, set up the hard disk format accordingly.

4) Ensure that you are using the correct type of hard drive. This cable will not work with 3.5" SSD/HDD.

5) Check the USB port on your computer. If it is faulty, the adapter may not work correctly.
